I am solitary right now out of necessity. I live in northern New Hampshire and there are not many covens in the area. Now in southern NH, there are covens abound. I could travel 2 hours one way to meet with others and there are those who would argue that if I were serious in being a witch I would do so.
Well, I'm here to tell ya...ain't gonna happen. I work 12 hour night shifts and can run my ass off for all 12 of those. I have a family that I like to spend time with and I have things to take care of. I know that religion is am important part of a person's life and making time should be a priority. I know that I am guilty of putting it on the back burner and need to pay more attention to it. That is on me and I have found an online tradition to study with. This will let me work at my own pace and it is working out so far.
I do miss having a coven to be with, the one I was a founding member of was my family. But, things intervened and everyone moved on. Not condemning any of us. Life takes us where it will and we have to do what is best for us. I love them all and miss them terribly!!!
